'Skem the Musical' great success!
The much talked about and much anticipated 'Skelmersdale - The Musical' was performed to hundreds of the town's residents over it's three night run, and to another packed audience at Edge Hill's Rose Theatre the following week. Both the local newspapers, the Advertiser and the Champion, reviewed the show and praised it as a heart-felt and entertaining night at the theatre.

Skelmersdale New Town's 50th Anniversary project needs your creative contributions. If you have any stories or poems about the town, or any photographs or artworks you wish to share, email them to us using the link below. All we ask is that the work is your own and that it does not contain anything that may be deemed offensive to the community. We reserve the right to select from submissions and display those selected in the Archive section of this web site for the duration of the project.
